You know those butterflies you get when you share a creation with the world? Well I had those times a million and it took me until now to share my personal logo.

debuting my personal logo!

If you were expecting an extravagant, mind-blowing design-sorry that’s not how I roll.

I originally started with my initials somehow inked in a coffee stain, (my initials look like A.M. as in morning-hence the coffee stain) and it was creative, but it just didn’t feel right.

Keep It Simple, Sweetie (K.I.S.S.) is my design mantra so I made a super simple logo.

The font resembles my handwriting/signature best. I adjusted the kerning so that the letters would connect because when I write I’m lazy and don’t lift my pen (oops).

I made it gold foil because I liked it, then I thought about it and it really stood for my love of all things classy, luxe and trendy.

The little flourish underneath was something I always drew under my name just to make it look pretty. This was the inspiration, but drew the one in my logo myself.

I used my full name in the longer logo as you can see. Originally, I had another flourish underneath it, but I wanted a bit more so I added a little bio.

So, I created a letterhead, business card, resume and infographic using this personal logo, expect to see it everywhere-well in non-blog related business.
