Remember when I took a vacation to California? Well we took a bunch of pictures and I have some, but the majority is on my relatives’ phone. Thanks to the Share Your Photos app sharing all those photos is easier than ever. I mean could it be any easier?! (if you imagined Chandler Bing saying that you and I are on the same brainwave).

Sharing photos (and memories!) with Share Your Photos app!

Here’s how it works:

  1. Download the App (for free)
  2. Once you sign up (with FB, Google or your Email) start creating events and inviting friends and family
  3. Within the event you can download the photos you want or even send them to be printed!

Easy as 1, 2, 3!

Let me show you around the app.

Invite friends (via text or email)!

If you create an event, you’ll see this screen

I usually stick to just the event name (I’m horrible with dates and locations lol)

If you join an already made event, you’ll get this screen.

Once in the event, you see the photos that have been uploaded by other users.

Then you can pick and choose which ones to download or the ones that can wait till later.

To go to other events, exit the screen you’re on and look for the button with the three horizontal lines at the upper left hand corner to switch events and this sidebar comes into view:

The menu options are self explanatory

If you go to ‘my events’, you’ll see this screen with all events you joined/created:

Hint-only download ones you really want (saves on storage), the others will stay forever.

I have yet to explore the other options, but you can bet they’re cool too! If you have, let me know.

The only problem I had was finding the time to go through my photos- but that’s just because I procrastinate like crazy.

With school coming up I won’t have a ton of photos to share, but looking at what my friends and family share is enough! Although, now that I think about it-I’ll probably be sharing photos of class adventures and other stuff (and maybe my notes, if you’re lucky) with my other classmates.

Overall-the app is super easy to install/navigate and I’ll definitely be using it in the future.
