As we enter the third week of my guest posting month, here is an article from Isabelle from Collegiate Curls! She talks about (in my humble opinion) THE BEST outfit planning website out there: Polyvore.

Guest posters opinions are their own and may not reflect the views of APSL.  Don’t forget to check out this post and this post of the guest posting series!

Guest Post: Isabelle from Collegiate Curls tells us all about the great outfit planning website.

It’s back-to-school season, one of my favorite times of the year (Christmas is first, obvi). I LOVE fall and everything that comes with it: sweaters, PSLs, boots, scarves, PSLs.

Did I mention Pumpkin Spice Lattes?!

One of my favorite parts of starting classes again is getting to plan out my week of outfits! Even when I don’t have time to plan outfits for an entire week of classes, I always make sure I have tomorrow’s outfit laid out the night before. Check out my post on making mornings easier for more time-saving tips for busy mornings!

Anyway, planning my outfits ahead of time not only makes my mornings easier, but it can help save me money, too! When I know what pieces I have and what outfits they can go with, I am less likely to buy unnecessary (but totally cute) pieces. Now, I’m no minimalist. My closet can tell you that. But I am definitely a poor college student, and saving money on clothes means more Starbucks money! Gosh, I want a PSL…

My favorite outfit planning app is Polyvore– it makes outfit planning so fun and simple! You can organize your outfits any way you like and easily search for outfit inspo. Here are some of my favorites, and you can bet I’m incorporating them into my back-to-school outfit planning!

Fall Sweaters
Back to School: Pastel Princess

I love the search feature of the Polyvore website. You can search specific products and add them directly to collages or collections. This makes it super easy to shop looks you love too!

The best part is Polyvore is completely free! I personally like to use the website over the app, but having the app on your phone makes for simple and fun outfit planning on the go!

What app/website do you use to plan an outfit?
