Summer gave us that supple radiance, that smooth, poreless appearance that makes us look young and healthy, but ow that fall is slowly approaching, all of us need a little more help to achieve that glowing luster. Bad habits and improper skincare can lead to blemishes and irritations, so if you want to avoid that and have skin that isn’t dull, welcome to our guide. Lush, dewy skin, here we come!

Don’t get lazy with skincare

The quickest way to bad skin is improper skincare. Even if you’re the kind of person who has amazing genetics and doesn’t get many blemishes, the older you become the worse those bad habits will reflect on your skin. So, cleanse twice a day, exfoliate once a week, moisturize, and slather on that sunscreen, girl! If your skin matters to you, then show it the care it needs and you’ll enjoy a beautiful, glowing face even without a trace of makeup.

Getting a skin treatment is the easiest way to feel pampered and to really target any issues you may have. Let the professionals at a reliable skin care clinic take care of you, and help you choose the right treatment. For example, try microdermabrasion, because it’s a completely non-invasive procedure that removes dead skin cells and takes your dull, grey skin and transforms it into something much more youthful and smooth.

It’s a safe, easy way to get your glow, and it feels pretty great to go to a clinic and just let other people soothe you and care for your face. Microdermabrasion is good for any skin type, and it can even help you remove that acne scaring, or hyperpigmentation. Don’t be shy when it comes to doing this type of thing for yourself. Use face oils

Oils? On your face? Won’t that clog up the pores and cause breakouts? Not if you’re using the right ones. There are actually some amazing, non-comedogenic oils on the market, and there’s pretty much no better product to use if you want velvety, radiant skin. Oil products are best used in the evening, but here are a few pointers on how to use them exactly.

Enhance your best features with makeup

Want that extra touch of glam on your skin? Boy, do we have a nice little idea for you. Grab a liquid highlighter, and then mix in a few drops with your liquid foundation for an instant beautiful glow. If you add a little highlighter to your foundation you’ll be getting that subtle, “lit from within” radiance that will have people swooning over you. Highlighters are a good idea in general, even if you’re a “no makeup” makeup kind of gal. Dab some on the top of your cheekbones, the tip of your nose, your cupid’s bow, and just under your eyebrows for a gorgeous, luminous glow.
