So I wrote this post like 6 months ago and several things have changed. Everything in italics is an update.

I totally realize that “school” is not a verb, but for this once bear with me. I just wrapped up my first year of mass communications and noticed there are a few school tools I can’t school without. I’m well into the second now!

Contains affiliate links! I'm sharing 7 school tools that get me through the semester.

1. My laptop
I’ve had Gonagall for a while (Mac + Gonagall? McGonagall? Favorite Hogwarts teacher? Am I crazy? Please don’t answer that) and I can’t school or blog without it. I got a new computer! Read about it here.

2. Flash Drive
This little disk has been with me since high school transferring my work to and from school. Safe to say I’d be lost without it.

3. Dropbox
Okay, this one can go under blogging tools I can’t blog without also. I would use it for school more if I didn’t always forget my password…

4. Photoshop
As I said before, photoshop and my computer do not get along. Photoshop on the school computers? Magic. Photoshop, illustrator and Lightroom work great on my computer now!

5. Illustrator
As an amateur graphic designer, Illustrator has been everything to me. See above.

6. My Zagg keyboard
Even though I could carry around my laptop, I prefer my iPad and Zagg keyboard. Not only is it like 10x lighter, with it my iPad is basically another computer.

7. Pages
When I say I love to write, Pages will corroborate that. Google Docs has been a lifesaver also.

8. COFFEE
All night study session anyone?

9. Gmail
Ever since I added my school email to my gmail account life has been a lot easier.

10. Blackboard
Grades? Check. Syllabus? Check. Assignments to do? Check. Having all things school related in one place? Check.

P.S. This is my 100th personal post!
