I’m currently writing this while debating on getting another cup of coffee. I think the answer is yes.  It’s almost always yes. Here’s my October in review.

Monthly Recap

This has been another eventful month! My cousin came from the Philippines earlier this month. Here’s the mindblowing facts: I’ve never met him and mom hasn’t seen him since he was a baby. So it was a happy October for us. He’d hate me for disclosing his age, but let’s just say that this was a looooooong overdue meeting/reunion. Another mindblowing fact? I DIDN’T TAKE A PHOTO! What kind of blogger am I? I stole these from a family friend (don’t worry I got permission).

The book I finished this month was ‘The Lying Game‘ by Ruth Ware. I really liked it, it was a mix between PPL and The Big Chill. It was so frustrating and at the same time heart-breaking. I’m struggling to write a review without giving anything away, so I’ll just say that if you enjoyed ‘The Woman in Cabin 10’ and want to read more from Ware, try this book. It’s probably not worth buying it unless you really want to, borrow it if you can.

I also finished ‘Death at Wentwater Court: The First Daisy Dalrymple Mystery‘ in like two days. I got it in audiobook format so I could do some other things while listening, but I quickly realized that I can’t really do anything that requires brain work while listening. For those who miss Downtown Abbey this is for you! It’s like that and ‘Murder She Wrote’ combined. It’s only about 275 pages so it’s a quick read!

If you follow me on IG, you know that I had midterms recently. Good news? no finals! Bad news: midterms were infuriating. I got through it though! In my media design class we made a logo, infographic, resume and letterhead. They’ll be debuted in due time.

My Latest Obsession

Call the Midwife‘. It’s not like I haven’t watched it before, in fact I binged seasons 1-3 a while ago, but I picked it back up and now I’m OBSESSED with it! Here’s another mindblowing fact: my dad is a doctor and hates the birth scenes. I can’t blame him too much, it is pretty gross, but the storylines are worth it.

Blog Stats

Ugh- I went down. Is it because of the holidays? I guess I’m partially to blame though because this past weeks I have been busy and haven’t promoted blog posts as much at all.
