This whole week has been about cold and flu stuff-when I told y’all that I had a week of ideas all about being sick I wasn’t kidding. I’ve been planning to do a post of what’s on my nightstand and I just never got around to it. Here’s what’s on it now (because having a prepped nightstand is essential to dealing with sickness at night).

Oh and there’s a giveaway at the end of this post!

*contains affiliate links* Having a fully stocked and ready nightstand is essential when it's cold and flu season. Here's what's on mine and a giveaway of an essential oil diffuser!

1. ASAUKI humidifier/diffuser/vaporizer

I just got this and I LOVE IT! It’s honestly the best and it has pride of place on my bedside table. Hint: lavender + orange essential oil is a great nighttime mix.

2. Water

I can’t rave enough about my S’well. It’s always full with ice cold water and I carry it everywhere. Over the summer I FINALLY got some  Vineyard Vines stickers and I put the whale one on my bottle. It’s stayed on through multiple washes!

3. Tissues

I also kept a used tissue box for the ones tissues I used (not on my nightstand, on the floor). It makes a super easy clean up too.

4. Aquaphor

I’ve tried fancy-schmancy balms, but plain ol’ Aquaphor works wonders with my dry, chapped lips. My dad also recommends it for hands that are washed multiple times a day.

5. Cough Drops

In this post and this post I swear by cough drops. When I wake up in the middle of the night and have that dang tickle in my throat I first blow my nose, then drink some water and pop a cough drop.

6. How to be an Overnight Success (c/o)

By Maria Hatzistenfanis (I just know I got that wrong, and if I did sorry Maria!). I got this in a package from Collectively and I’m reading it now. In short, she is the founder of Rodial skincare and it took her like 3 times to be an “overnight success”. I can’t wait to read it!

7. Nip + Fab Glycolic fix daily cleansing pads (c/o)

Speaking of skincare, these Nip + Fab daily cleansing pads are a godsend when I want to fall into bed and don’t feel like fully washing my face. Here’s my skincare tirade: I HATE IT when celebrities get on their Snapchat or IG Stories in FULL makeup and say the don’t wash their face before bed. TAKE CARE OF YOUR SKIN FOLKS!

8. Ott Light

Funny story: when I came across this light in the store, I didn’t know how to work it and was holding it trying to figure it out. A salesperson came by and just lifted the top half and it came alive. This is how I basically looked:

9. Lubriderm

Possibly my favorite lotion. I mix some with eucalyptus essential oil to ease muscle pain!

Now for the giveaway!

I accidentally ordered a 100ml URPOWER humidifier and diffuser that also doubles as a night light. Instead of returning it, I decided to give it away! It’s only the size of an iPhone 6, has 7 different night light colors and can be set to spray a mist every 30 seconds or run continuously for 3 hours.
